Climate Change Downscaling Approaches and Applications (CCDAA)

The training program offered by UN-CECAR is designed to cater to both researchers and professionals seeking to enhance their understanding of climate change.

The program is structured into several course modules, including the science of climate change, dynamical and statistical downscaling methods, impacts on rice production, and impacts on floods.

Participants will have the opportunity to delve into these specific areas and gain comprehensive knowledge on the subject matter. Additionally, practical training will be provided in the utilization of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for downscaling and climate change impact assessment.

By acquiring these skills and knowledge, participants will be better equipped to contribute to the field of climate change research and apply their expertise in practical scenarios related to agriculture and flood management.
